We are currently seeking a Fire Installation engineer in the Rochester area. All candidates must have previous experience in either installation work or small works. The ideal candidate should be able to work on their own initiative and have good fire alarm industry experience to correct standards along with knowledge of emergency lighting systems. The package is commensurate with experience, knowledge base and qualifications. Overtime is frequently available for which additional payments will be made. Basic hours are 40hrs per week.

The Role

* Carrying out planned Installation of Fire systems to the correct standard

* Carry out system commissioning and handovers to customers.

* Carry out fault finding on systems.

* Completing paperwork to the required standard

* Programming of systems and an understanding of cause and effect

* Meet predefined target times for installation.

* Awareness of Health & Safety

* To present a professional appearance
