HGV Technician

Mainstay are proudly recruiting for a full-time HGV Technician for our client based in Meriden, Warwickshire.

Easily commutable from areas such as Solihull, Marston Green, Coleshill and Coventry, this is a temporary-to-permanent position offering a full-time contract after 12 weeks. The role involves maintenance, repairs, and servicing of HGV vehicles/trailers, completing relevant paperwork, and MOT preparations for the company fleet. Previous HGV mechanic experience is required. Having a HGV class 1 driving licence would be advantageous.

You would be working on a Monday to Friday basis, starting 07:00 and finishing 17:00. There would be no expectation for overtime/weekends.

Salary:
First 12 weeks - £19.50 per hour PAYE
After 12 weeks - £50,000 - £52,000 per annum

Minimum Requirements:

City and Guilds NVQ level 3
Irtec Accreditation
Previous HGV mechanic experience
