Facilities Engineer

Function : Carry out repairs, planned preventative maintenance, Corrective Maintenance and Continuous Improvement of Facilities equipment as required.
Specific Duties :
Carry out maintenance on the following :

• Refrigeration Plant, Freezers, Chill Stores, HVAC, Boilers.
• Fire Protection System, Lighting, CCTV & Access Control, Water Systems, Effluent Plant, Grounds Works
• Required to work over a broad range of skills including but not limited to mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, refrigeration, Computer work (software & hardware), PLCs, programming, Instrumentation, plumbing & General Maintenance.
• Work on specific projects and continuous improvement projects as required.
• Work in a safe, logical, diligent & proactive manner with minimum supervision required.
• Work with and assist other departments/customers as needed.
• Co-ordinate, work with and assist contractors as required ensuring safety, quality and cleanliness of work carried out.
• Other duties as assigned by Supervisor/Management

Qualification / Work Experience

• Trade Qualified Electrical with good Mechanical Knowledge
• Previous experience working within a Facilities role.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work on own initiative.
• Experience of working within a high volume production environment as advantage.

Note : Must be available for shift work.
