Manchester, M2 2EE

*    Full time 37.5 hours per week
*    Shift patterns: Monday to Friday (between 8am and 8pm) and Saturday (9am to 5pm)
*    Salary £22,500 with opportunity to earn commission payments
*    OTE Commission

The role:

The successful applicant will support the Part 8 Enforcement Team by contacting clients via telephone to follow up on housing disrepair claims. Warm leads will be contacted using a dialler, requiring an excellent telephone manner.

The role involves discussing progress with clients, confirming completion of works or compensation, and documenting details in our case management system. If issues remain unresolved, a new case is created for the Part 8 Enforcement Team. This position is vital for ensuring compliance with legal agreements with landlords.

Key tasks (not an exhaustive list):

*    Identifying Housing Disrepair Claims that require breach of contract applications to be started
*    Contacting existing clients by phone to obtain instructions on the position with regards to any outstanding repairs to the property
*    Review the agreed schedule of works with the Client to confirm what has been completed / remains outstanding
*    Liaise with Breach Manager / other departments
*    Ring existing clients on a dialler (warm leads only)

Good telephone manner with an ability to explain next steps to clients

*    An ability to empathise with clients and be able to manage expectations
*    If any works outstanding set up new claim on our case management system (full training will be provided)

The successful applicant:

To excel in this role, you will be able to meet the following criteria:

*    Strong written and verbal communication skills, including a pleasant telephone manner
*    Building rapport, active listening, and effectively steering conversations are key to the role
*    Confidence on the phone is crucial to provide empathetic and persuasive client assistance
*    Organisational skills and attention to detail are vital for managing tasks effectively
*    Proficiency in MS Office is required
*    Ability to work independently while maintaining close collaboration with a team
*    Eagerness to learn is crucial, as training will be provided for the role

Experience:

*    Experience in meeting targets and driving commission is a necessary requirement
*    Experience in a target-based telephone contact role would be ideal; it may also suit an applicant with general telephone customer service role experience
*    Experience using a telephone dialler is advantageous
*    Case Management System experience would be helpful but is not essential, as training will be provided
