Value Stream Supervisor - 2nd Shift Forming

Job Description
Reports directly to a Value Stream or Area Manager. Responsible for all aspects of daily execution and continuous improvement of a Focus Factory that produces finished goods, provides parts or services to internal customers utilizing the ASMS beliefs.
The ideal candidate for a Value Stream Supervisor would be able to do the following:
Maintains safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on the use of all control points, equipment, and resources, and maintains compliance with safety policies and procedures.
Monitors the execution of in-process quality checks, defect resolution and initiating the help chain when troubleshooting does not yield a solution.
Enforces adherence to standard work, policies, and procedures.
Selects, onboards, and evaluates direct reports.
Executes direct report training plans.
Completes production plan by scheduling and assigning personnel, establishing priorities, monitoring progress, revising schedules, resolving problems, and reporting results of the processing flow on shift production summaries.
Drives daily continuous improvement activities.
Maintains working relationship with Union representatives.
Follows the terms of the collective bargaining agreement.
Manages employee schedules and timecards.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing all other duties as assigned.
