Xpertise are urgently looking for a Linux / Azure Systems Engineer to join one of our public sector clients. Due to internal promotion and this leaving a security issue/vulnerability within the company this requirement is urgent.
£500-£550 per day Inside IR35
6-month contract initially (renewal option)
1 to 2 days a week in the London Office
Linux / Azure Systems Engineer - Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain Linux-based systems, including installation, configuration, troubleshooting, patching and performance tuning.
Implement and maintain monitoring solutions to ensure the health availability of our systems.
Collaborate with the cloud team to optimize our systems for Azure and data centre environments.
Provide support and guidance to other team members on Linux-related issues.
Appropriate patching of Linux servers (~110 severs across two data centres).
Lead elements of planning and implementation work to install and maintain our systems, including building and configuring infrastructure components in virtualized and cloud environments.
Linux / Azure Systems Engineer - Requirements:
Strong and detailed Linux experience.
ARC patching experience.
Azure experience.
Powershell scripting experience.
PALO Firewall experience.
Experience patching and upgrading of firmware
