Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager required to join a Global Engineering Manufacturer of Fluid Transfer Solutions.

The successful Area Sales Manager/ Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager will work remotely covering UK-wide, responsible for key account management and new business development of Hydraulic products and services via distribution channels and OEM customers.

The successful Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager will ideally have experience selling, or managing accounts within Hydraulics, Hydraulic Hoses, Pumps, Valves, Motors, Instrumentation, Capital Equipment, Pressure test systems, or similar MRO, Fluid Power products/services.

£45,000 - £55,000 depending on experience

Area Sales Manager/ Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager Role

Managing a number of key accounts of Hydraulic distribution channels and OEM customers within Hydraulics, Hydraulic Hoses, Pumps, Valves, Motors, Instrumentation, Capital Equipment, Pressure test systems, or similar Fluid Power products in various industries.
Identify and target new clients that can benefit from the Hydraulic product range on offer.
Manage and grow existing relationships as well as business development selling Hydraulic Hoses and associated products/equipment.
Maintaining new Hydraulic sales with demonstration, exhibition, and negotiation in order to achieve targets.
Working closely with the Hydraulic Service Department to ensure an excellent standard of after-sales service is provided.
Liaise with various engineering departments.
Home-based, willing to travel to customer sites across the UK.
Area Sales Manager/ Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager Requirements

Experience as a Key Account Manager, Account Manager, Area Sales Manager, Sales Engineer, Business Development Manager, Technical Sales Engineer or similar.
A minimum of 2 years of successful external sales experience within the Hydraulic field, Fluid Power, or MRO background.
Determination, enthusiasm, and motivation to succeed and grow with a reputable Manufacturer.
A technical qualification, Apprentice trained, HNC, HND, or Degree would be advantageous.
Experience selling mechanical engineering equipment – Hydraulics, Hydraulic Hoses, Pumps, Valves, Motors, Instrumentation, Capital Equipment, Pressure test systems, MRO or similar mechanical engineering products/services within the Fluid Power industry.
