Our Client is a reputable construction company specializing in high-end residential projects, playing a huge role in the creation of the historical landscape of Oxford and the surrounding area, including some of its most iconic buildings.

Job Description:

We are currently seeking a talented MEP Manager to join our clients team (Mechanical Bias). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing aspects of construction projects, particularly within the residential sector. The role will involve overseeing the appointment of subcontractors and ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.

Responsibilities:

* Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing services and materials.

* Manage MEP aspects of construction projects from inception to completion, including planning, scheduling, and budgeting.

* Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and quality of MEP work, and address any issues or challenges that arise.

* Collaborate with project stakeholders, including architects, engineers, and clients, to ensure project requirements are met.

* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies at all times.

* Provide technical expertise and guidance to project teams as needed.

* Prepare and review MEP project documentation, including drawings, specifications, and reports.

Requirements:

* Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within the construction industry.

* Mechanical Engineering Degree is advantageous

* Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems and building services.

* Experience in appointing subcontractors and managing projects from start to finish.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues, clients, and subcontractors.

* Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

* Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

* Relevant qualifications in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field would be advantageous
