Electrical Engineer - West London - £50,000
This is a brand new client-direct vacancy in a landmark London building. Our client is looking for an experienced electrical engineer to join their Facilities Tea on a Monday – Friday basis (with occasional weekend work). This role will suit an electrically qualified Maintenance Engineer with background in commercial fit-outs and building maintenance. Responsibilities:
* · Effective and efficient delivery of all facilities services through both planned and reactive maintenance.
* · To carry out installation, rectification, maintenance and overhaul of all plant
* · To deliver on maintenance KPIs through planned, preventative and predictive maintenance using a Computer Aided Facilities Management (CAFM) software including time recording, analysis and reporting.
* · To deliver a top-tier, versatile, and responsive service, emphasizing courtesy and attentiveness, with a special emphasis on ensuring customer satisfaction.
* · To effectively liaise with (and on occasion supervise) external contractors.
* · To assist Supervisors with site and process familiarisation for new members of staff.
* · To report any plant/equipment/installation defects, deterioration or asset change and recommend actions to Supervisors.
* · To actively support sustainability and energy saving initiatives.
* · To ensure the safety of the public, contractors, staff and you using safe working practices.
* · To be fully familiar with statutory and site-specific Health and Safety Regulations and understand electrical safety legislation.
Requirements:
* · Indentured Apprenticeship; City and Guilds Part 3 qualifications or equivalent.
* · City and Guilds Inspection and Testing 2391 or Equivalent.
* · Proven Electrical/Mechanical engineering experience in a commercial Building Maintenance environment, demonstrating a strong understanding of various systems.
* · Health and Safety Qualification Desirable
* · 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
* · Ability to work independently and as part of a team, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.
* · City and Guilds ACoP L8 desirable
* · Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to maintenance challenges.
* · Experience working with; 3 Phase motors, Emergency Lighting, AHU’s, FCU’s, Pumps, Motors Fans, Belts, Filters
