Our client is looking for Electrical Design Engineer to lead the development and delivery of BESS electrical design projects. You will be working with partners across multiple countries and industries and play a key role in the further scale up of our business together with an amazing team!
The role
* Lead and deliver electrical design projects in the UK and other European countries (medium voltage)
* Create Single Line Diagrams, technical specifications, risk assessments and support with selecting electrical equipment and components
* Design substations, perform cable calculations, and create SCADA design
* Design site communication networks, such as Fibre Optics
* Interact & work collaboratively with our commercial team to review, clarify specifications and suggest improvements
* Update local design documents and generate documents such as IOM manuals, instruction sheets and commissioning instructions
* Ensure high quality delivery and compliance with the local standards
Some required qualifications:
* Relevant Engineering degree and minimum 5 years of experience with systems design in a European country
* Experience of ICP`s/DNO`s, substation desing & cable routing
* Knowledge of Scada interfaces, ENA/BS/IEC/G81 standards and cable design
* Experience with BESS site layout, sight interfaces and solar
* Excellent English communicaiton skills
