Purchasing Advisor

At Manpower we have the opportunity for someone to join the lovely team of one of our large, established, automotive clients situated within Milton Keynes as a Purchasing Advisor. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate time management, excellent customer service and has a dynamic, inquisitive, and curious personality.

The role of the Purchasing Advisor will work within the fleet department to order and deliver new vehicles whilst building customer and supplier relationships.

Main responsibilities:

Communication with Customers and Vehicle Suppliers to identify vehicle requirements
Liaising with nominated dealers/obtaining quotations and issuing vehicle purchase orders.
Progressing vehicle orders weekly, keeping systems and customers updated
Liaison between dealer and customer to arrange new vehicle delivery
Payment of supplier vehicle invoices
Responsible for a wide range of administrative duties and inter departmental activities
Reporting weekly using our Purchasing systems and internal SLA's

Experience:

A good knowledge of automotive products and other manufacturers
Knowledge and understanding of Fleet leasing solutions
MUST Have good experience using Excel
A team player with the ability to work under pressure in order to meet strict deadlines
Confident and customer-focused in communicating both by telephone and face to face.

This is a temporary, part-time contract until August only working 24hrs per week. Working hours are 9am - 5pm, Monday - Friday with flexibility on days.
Paying £12.75 per hour.
