Role Summary:
In this role, you’ll be supporting research and development operations. As a technician, you will be setting up equipment to perform experiments, writing technical process documents and making operations safer and more efficient. This is a full-time role located in our Denver, CO office in a fast-paced startup environment.
Compensation Range: $23-$27/hour (compensation is based on education, experience, skillset, and market value).
What You’ll Be Doing:
Repairs, installs, and inspects electronics or electronic systems as directed through verbal or written communications, diagrams, drawings, or specifications
Determines material or replacement needs and a logical method for repair; takes appropriate action to meet those needs and makes repairs
Creates or adapts parts as needed to make repairs and improve the performance of various electronics
Instructs employees regarding safe working procedures and requirements when working with electronic equipment and components
Develops and maintains records related to electronic and electrical equipment
You’ll Need These Qualifications:
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent problem-solving ability
Ability to follow complex directions
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Desired Qualifications:
This position has no specific education requirements, though experience in some or all of the following areas is strongly preferred:
Electronics/electrical maintenance or repair
Working with power tools such as drills
Physics, Chemistry or Electrical R&D lab
Inventory management
Technical writing
Basic construction
Experimental design
