£133.90 - £155.00 per day (salary is dependent on experience and/or qualifications)

Vision for Education is seeking to appoint an ECT to work in a local primary school in Weston-Super-Mare on a full-time basis to start in September 2024.

About the role

The ideal ECT will:

• Have experience of working with primary school aged children

• Support pupils who face barriers to learning

• Be able to engage pupils with learning activities

• Have a passion for the progress of primary school pupils

• Be able to manage behaviour effectively

About the school

The local primary school in north-west Bristol welcomes a diverse range of pupils and is seeking a Primary Teacher who has high standards and expectations of pupils and utilises their creativity to enhance learning. The school has a rich and purposeful curriculum and has close ties with the local community. The school takes pride in their supportive environment for staff and students and has embedded a culture of trust and respect.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Early Career Teacher you will:

have experience teaching in Primary Schools
be able to manage behaviour effectively
have a passion for teaching with the ability to deliver inspiring lessons
Ideally hold a driving licence and have access to your own vehicle

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:

to hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or to be an Early Career Teacher (ECT)
to hold an Enhanced DBS that is on the update service (child workforce or child and adult workforce) or be prepared to undergo an Enhanced DBS check
