Scraper Operator

Baranko Brothers, Inc., a large earthwork contractor based out of Dickinson, ND, is looking for a skilled scraper operator to join our team. With over 50 years of experience, we have established strong relationships with private entities and local and state governments in the Midwest. As a member of the AGC and LEC, we take pride in providing high-quality earthwork services to our clients. The scraper operator will be responsible for operating heavy equipment to move earth and other materials for construction projects. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.
Responsibilities
Operate and maintain scrapers and other heavy equipment
Ability to read and understand grade stakes
Move earth, rock, and other materials as needed
Perform pre-operation safety checks on equipment
Coordinate with project managers and other team members to ensure efficient workflow
Follow all safety guidelines and procedures
Complete daily activity logs and time sheets
Requirements
Minimum of 2 years of experience operating heavy equipment preferred
Must have reliable transportation to and from work
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and comply with drug and alcohol policies during employment
Ability to read and interpret engineering plans
Basic knowledge of construction principles and materials
Willingness to work in diverse weather conditions and irregular hours as needed.
Perform other related duties as needed
